Office of Finance and Oversight Mission
The Office of Finance & Oversight serves as the principal
advisor to the Director, Office of Finance and Accounting, on all aspects
regarding providing financial management support to the Headquarters
program offices and providing oversight and evaluation of DOE's Energy
Finance and Accounting Service Center (EFASC). The Office executes a
comprehensive financial review and management evaluation program of DOE's
accounting operations. This includes reviewing and evaluating all aspects
of accounting systems, policies, and procedures. The Office assures that
all required oversight, evaluation and reporting functions mandated by
Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-76 are accomplished.
