The Strategic Integrated Procurement Enterprise System (STRIPES) initiative is an important component of the overall vision of the iManage program. The STRIPES project will replace and consolidate as many as 30 procurement-related systems across the Department. STRIPES will:

  • Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of awarding and administering acquisition and financial assistance instruments
  • Improve the ability of all program offices to perform DOE missions
  • Utilize existing enterprise financial management functionality to accomplish an integrated solution.

We are pleased to announce that STRIPES officially went live as of Wednesday, April 16, 2008. The Phase I Deployments are complete and STRIPES has been deployed at the Office of Headquarters Procurement Services (MA-64), the Office of Civilian Radioactive Waste Management (RW), Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR), the Naval Reactors Office (NR) and NNSA’s Headquarters Procurement Office (HPO).

The Phase II Deployments are complete as STRIPES has been implemented at the Environmental Management Consolidated Business Center (EMCBC), Idaho Operations Office (Idaho), Oakridge Operations Office (Oakridge), the National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL), Golden Field Office, the Chicago Operations Office, Savannah River, Richland, Office of River Protection (ORP), and the Southeastern Power Administration (SEPA).
